It's our servers favorite time of year.... menu testing is here! We require an array of qualifications to be a Tona server, but one of our biggest expectations is to have exceptional knowledge of Tona's unique dishes. To ensure this, our servers are required to pass a grueling hand written test, once every year. Let's see how many of you would pass the test. Name as many ingredients as you can that make up our Poke Roll and be entered to win a prize. (Don't plan on looking on our menu, it's not there.....🙃😜)

Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. That's what we're trying to do here at Tona. If you ever find yourself in need of durable 5 gallon buckets or styrofoam coolers, we have plenty and we always have more coming. We are happy to give these out for free to anyone who might be interested. We've had artists and craftsmen ask for them, as well as handymen, home-cooks, mechanics and gardeners. Just stop by the restaurant and ask to see a manager. Thanks for helping us create less waste!

We love when Venture Academy comes to learn about Japanese culture and cuisine! These kids were a pretty amazing audience too, great listeners, awesome comments, polite and so fun. Tina taught them a little about why we take off our shoes to show respect, how to use chopsticks and some sushi facts. And Chef Tony showed them how to make the sushi....
Another deliciously educational field trip for the kids from Venture Academy in the books today. Chef Tony and our staff love educating our local kids on the special and unique art of Japanese cuisine and culture.
Today Tona is celebrating 13 years of sharing our passion for innovative Japanese cuisine, and the relationship we've built with our guests throughout those years.
